From Sketch to Masterpiece – Train in Landscape, Anatomy & Design

Hello Reader,

Ready to grow your skills? We’re offering exciting classes that help you understand and create better art. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, there's something for you! Here are some common questions and answers about these classes!

Q: What will I learn in the Landscape Painting class?

A: You’ll learn how to set up a palette, mix colors, prepare your materials, clean up, and more! Each week, we visit new locations near New Hope, PA, to paint en plein air (in the open air). It’s fun and makes it easy to get started. The class is perfect for all levels—teenagers to adults.

Q: Why study Artistic Anatomy?

A: Understanding anatomy helps you draw realistic human figures. In this class, you’ll learn to draw the human body from imagination or life, focusing on muscles and systems that make your figures believable. We don’t just learn muscles and bones—we explore how they relate and form larger groups. You will do many drawings and use multiple sources to learn how to create realistic figures!

Q: What does the Design for Artists class teach?

A: This class covers the fundamentals of design in art! We’ll explore the 7 elements of design and how artists can use them. You will learn to ask design questions, analyze old masters critically, and start applying design principles to your own work.
